What I liked

I like that it was a different job that I normally would have done. My experience is in the food industry. Moving into biotech is where I want to start a career once I finish school. This was definitely a step in the right direction.

What I wish was different

When I started I got to go into the labs and perform QPCR and PCR analysis based off of samples that I took from around the buildings. These tests were to find if any of the surfaces throughout the building had any signs of COVID-19

Advice

I think that I is important to have a job during school and over the summer because this teaches you a whole different lesson on time management. How to balance school, work, and your social life. I can tell you right now that school takes over most of my free time. Working helps you make more connections within the industries that you work in and can help you land a good job once you get out of school.
