We had free pizza on Fridays if we all wore mason apparel.
What I wish was different
The way shifts were. It was only3 hours a day, from 6-9 PM and very little opportunity for extra hours.
Advice
You have to be very patient. A lot of alumni are really rude.

What I liked
The job had everything to do with my future aspirations and personal strengths- writing, editing, helping others. The hours were short enough so that I could keep up with my studies. Co-workers were supportive in the case of illness and unexpected emergencies.
What I wish was different
Other than the pay, nothing.
Advice
Keep up with tutoring pedagogy, and learn more about helping non-native English speakers i.e. the common errors made in their writing, the alternative learning styles they often have, etc.
