I loved that I was able to work for a nonprofit that is willing to be open to creative ideas and methods to gain more traction to our social media accounts and for people to just learn about our mission. I did not anticipate on having such a major role in creating content for the two projects we had for this semester: International Day of the Girl 2020 and Giving Tuesday 2020.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was able to meet the rest of the team so that I can see the faces who are representing the organization.
Advice
Learn to be conscientious and globally aware. It's essential to build international connections in this day and age so take the time to really know the origins of the organization.
