The path to today began in 1983. The State of California had an Outstanding Idea and passed a law allowing beer to be produced and sold in the same location, thus creating the opportunity for brewery restaurants to exist. In 1987, Dan Gordon and Dean Biersch founded Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant in Palo Alto, CA and in 1988 opened the doors in the very first location. More than two decades later, we are moving forward and focused on continuing to be a Growth Organization! We rely on our Managers and Team Members to bring forth their own Outstanding Ideas that shape the way we run every Gordon Biersch location. Our success starts with you!
