About Great Lakes PeaceJam

Great Lakes PeaceJam (GLPJ) is a regional affiliate of the PeaceJam Foundation. PeaceJam was established in 1996 as an international education program for youth and is built around the lives of Nobel Peace Laureates who work personally with our clubs to encourage youth to commit to service and become active change-agents in their community and in the world. We are located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and service the states of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. We offer programming for students grades K-12, college students, and incarcerated youth through PeaceJam’s curriculum and service-learning opportunities that provides a route to personal transformation.

Great Lakes PeaceJam is a program of Seeding Change, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission of developing lifelong, civically active, and globally aware leaders of peace and justice.
