“ learned so much about the ins and outs of the industry and had the unique experience to work with every department to gain a variety of skills. My title was event management/operations but I was also taught how to sell a ticket in the sales department as well as several tasks within the marketing team ranging from in game promos to being the mascot. I loved the hands on experience I gained and enjoyed being trusted to do tasks after being properly trained through an immersive training period. I also gained insight outside of the sports realm and into the broader entertainment industry being a major part of putting on 2 concerts throughout the summer. However, the best part about this internship is how big the class of interns are, as I was surrounded by 30 other young, innovative up and coming minds in the industry. I can’t stress enough the doors that were opened through my summer working for the Rockers and highly encourage anyone looking for an internship to consider this opportunity. Additionally, the staff has actively continued to be involved in my life after the internship was over and continue to help with my professional development.”
