What I liked
I like the community, camaraderie, working in the field every day, rewarding work.
What I wish was different
My schedule changed randomly a few times so I missed out on an opportunity to work with a few departments that I was looking forward to. Nothing other than that, the experience exceeded my expectations.
Advice
Work hard because hard work pays off, the timber industry isnt always the enemy of the environment, get as much experience as you can in any field because it is all interchangeable and applicable in life.

What I liked
I liked that most of my work hours were spent outside, and that I was given everything I needed to do my best work. I was able to pick up a range of skills in this position and that was very valuable. Also, I began the pro-forestry program in the fall after this job, and I gained a good deal of context from this position that helped me in my fall term classes.
What I wish was different

Advice
Be willing to taking leaps. Moving to another state was a leap for me with this position and I’m glad I did it.
