What I liked

From day one I did not feel just like an intern, but instead a valuable asset to the team. Instead of solely assigning remedial tasks for me to complete, i was given true responsibilities. Through this i have been able to develop upon my skills and earn a part-time position.

What I wish was different

Advice

As an intern at GreenRoom you are provided with an opportunity to truly learn and grow, but only if you go after it yourself. The team will provide you with all the guidance and framework needed, but it is up to you to show an interest and fully engross yourself. Once you do that, the opportunities are endless.

What I liked

I like how they were very accomodating in terms of the pandemic. I also got very interesting work that would consistently push my limits.

What I wish was different

I wish I had gotten paid over the summer. They gave me an offer to continue in order to get paid which was nice, but doing the work over the summer and not getting paid was not optimal

Advice

I would say to be prepared to apply with a good portfolio and resume, and definitely highlight a skill that makes you stand out from the competition. In my case, it was video editing that made the company choose me because they needed someone to edit videos.
