I liked that it was close to home. We also had paid sick time and we got paid weekly.
What I wish was different
I wish the work environment would have been less hostile. It was very faced paced and it can get hectic if understaffed.
Advice
I would advise to know your worth and don't let people over work you.

What I liked
I liked how I not only help with administration work but in other areas within the company. For example, I got see their labs for quality testing and got to see the process of how product comes in and to the finish product. I like I was able to apply safety procedures to employees.
What I wish was different
Something I wish had been different was to be able to work in the lab.

One piece of advice would be to get to know the culture of the work environment.

What I liked
It was interesting to learn about carrot production and all the aspects that go into packing carrots for retailers. I also really enjoyed learning about multiple aspects of the company. My manager let me tag along to some of his meetings and I was able to meet and get to know people at other locations which is really valuable for the future.
What I wish was different
I really can't think of anything. I had a really good experience.
Advice
I would advise all students to do some sort of internship. It may be out of your comfort zone, but it is an extremely valuable experience and looks good on a resume.

I hardly did any accounting. It was mainly clerical work.
Advice
I should have asked if there were more tasks that I could do in the areas I was more interested in. For example, asking for more accounting tasks.
