What I liked

Intern was given many roles, lots of choice about projects, exposed to all aspects of a start-up company, important work in mental health is relevant, college perspective is valued at the company, supportive and friendly team of professionals from all backgrounds.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been able to experience the office in person, but even remotely I was able to really gain a sense of the team culture and made very close relationships with mentors at Grit.

Advice

Use this opportunity to expose yourself to all aspects of the company. Share about yourself and ask all team members questions: they want to help you and can be resources now and in the future for careers.
