The opportunity to grow in not only education but in mental behavioral disorders. I practice ABA therapy with students K-22 yrs of age. Learning how to create BIP and implement IEP's helped me grow and gave me an insight to work with special need students.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more initial training on how to pair or interact with the students. I had to learn by observing on my own.
Advice
Overall, I feel that my passion for education has grown to the point I want to pursue my LBS1 endorsement for my Masters. The behavior tactics I have learned allowed me to handle the less abrasive and social emotional behaviors you will encounter in a General Ed classroom more effectively.
