The team is very helpful and friendly. They helped me find housing because I'm not from the area and had no idea where to start.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more technical work to be completed. This is not to fault the group, it was a slow time in the consulting industry for many companies.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. Nobody is a mind reader and as long as your request is reasonable there is no reason it can't be considered.

Structural Engineering Intern
May - August 2019 • Lisle, IL
What I liked
I really enjoyed the training they gave for software and the work I was assigned to. Rather than do a bunch of small project, I was given parts of a single large bridge project to work on.
What I wish was different
I wasn't a fan of the work environment, it wasn't very social.
Advice
Be willing to ask questions! There were many times I tried to figure something out for a long time, but figured it out as soon as I asked for help.

Drainage Intern
September 2018 • Jacksonville, FL
What I liked
Real Projects, not just working on Intern Presentations. Very broad projects, so I got to see almost every step of the way.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the time to have been in full-time. I was only able to do a couple hours a day due to classes.
Advice
Ask questions! Don't waste your time thinking you can figure something out, when people are kind and willing to teach you.
