What I liked

Because Happy Acres is a small family business the whole center is very close, in fact we call ourselves a family. It is a good environment to grow in because the people around you want to see you succeed, which was important over the summer as I took over a directorial role.

What I wish was different

There was some personnel changes over the summer which made my activities harder to plan and put into place.

Advice

When working with children it is important to stay level headed, no matter how frustrated you get. It can be very rewarding, but you have to learn a lot of patience along the way.
