Harbor Hospice provides hospice care to residents in the five-county area of West Michigan who have received a terminal diagnosis. A terminal diagnosis has a prognosis of six months or less if the disease runs its normal course. The goal of Harbor Hospice is to provide the opportunity for dignity, choices and control for each patient and family, this includes Pediatric hospice care if needed. The care provided by the family and other caregivers, with the support of hospice staff and volunteers, can usually meet the needs of the hospice patient who wishes to stay at home.
