It's fun to get involved with research on campus because it feels like you can apply the things you learned in class in a real world setting outside of educational labs.
What I wish was different
The HR experience took awhile, like 3 weeks, but the waiting for the background check was the majority of that time.
Advice
Keep looking for opportunities on Handshake, I found this job after looking for about 3 months.
