I loved the HBO internship program. There were weekly speaker series where top executives presented to us on their positions.

The work environment was so welcoming and everyone on the team was extremely friendly! The rotation program also provided a great range of experience.
What I wish was different
I wish the commute wasn’t as far as it was, but that can easily be solved.
Advice
Be prepared to adapt to a range of projects and work outside your comfort zone for a creative project.

What I liked
I learned so much! Everyday I was so excited to get to work that I ended up usually getting there 45 minutes earlier than I was supposed to. It was also great because I'm graduating in May and it was cool to be able to work in a full-time role and see what it's like.
What I wish was different
Nothing!
Advice
Even looking back on it now, I still can't believe that I was able to intern at HBO. I would say to get advice from resources on campus and in your personal network and do everything you can (including making LinkedIn a resource) to get to that company/role you want because it is such an awesome feeling when you finally get there and it makes all the work you've put in worth it.
