What I liked
I liked the hands on experience this position gave me with patients and physicians. It was a truly amazing experience and I learned a lot. It gave me networking opportunities and helped me to see what it's like working in the medical field.
What I wish was different
I wish I hadn't also been studying for my MCAT at the time so I could volunteer more.
Advice
GET INVOLVED! I'd advice anyone in this position to talk to patients as they are volunteering. You get to learn a lot about different experiences.
