The internship allowed me to gain real-life hands-on experience in a professional environment. It also helped me to narrow down the area I would like to specialize in.

I wish I would have applied earlier so that I could have had more time to work at the company.
Advice
Ask about attending meetings and if you don't know something, ask. Everyone I met was willing to help and was encouraging when I wanted to learn something new.
