Working with staff to create methods for allowing youth how to understand conceptual, abstract artwork.

I wish I could have worked there longer!
Advice
Ask questions and stay active! Ask to meet with people over coffee or lunch and always offer help with activities. Everyone at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, wants to help interns make their time at HMSG successful.

What I liked
I learned a lot and was able to spearhead my own projects, including pioneering an intern lunch series with members of different museum departments.
What I wish was different
The intern program was not very structured and at times I felt like there wasn't enough for me to do.
Advice
Make it what you want it; take initiative to make the internship what you want it to be.
