I loved finally getting to do what I’ve always wanted to do - teach! I was so supported at my school by the staff there as well as my host teachers and my university coordinator. I learned a lot about what it means to be a good teacher and how to feel comfortable trying new things.
What I wish was different
The student teaching seminars were long and I felt like while I was there I was missing out on valuable teaching and learning time in the classroom.
Advice
Find a balance between school and your personal life because you deserve to have a personal life!
