What I liked

The ability to work at my own pace, being able to buy things necessary to continue working without climbing a ladder of command, the environment (people and work place)

What I wish was different

I wish I would’ve had more time to help finish a project I was working on to improve company testing capabilities.

Advice

Be open to anything, and be willing to help everyone.

What I liked

Great, hands-on work environment which was small enough that all interns were working on projects with actual deliverables by the end of the summer. This gave me the ability to take a design from a list of requirements for a system at the beginning of the summer to procuring test hardware and a flight-forward design by the end of the summer.. It was an inclusive place to work where everyone was always willing to help you or lend you their knowledge from other projects when you needed it.

What I wish was different

Since it's a small office space, the addition of interns represented a large (+18%) change to the number of people at the office, so our desk space was out in the assembly areas which was not super comfortable. That being said, the fact my only real complaint is the ergonomics of my desk speaks to how fantastic a place it was to work.
