What I liked

Hotel Trundle was such a wonderful experience! It is the first boutique hotel in Columbia. It had an amazing atmosphere of hospitality, but was also focused on local art. I could develop PR skills, but also had a creative outlet working here! Also, the people working here are so nice and want you to succeed. It's for sure a team effort.

What I wish was different

I really enjoyed my experience and wouldn't change much! There is a lack of clear expectations of your working position; you kind of do whatever is needed, but that didn't bother me! I like the variance of the working day! It is a new business, so they are still working to develop a consistent schedule for deadline and stuff like that.

Advice

Be aware that the marketing team is small!! If you don't know what you're doing, get ready to learn by experience/teaching yourself. There really isn't someone there that can sit down and teach you PR skills. You develop your skills by mostly trial and error. It was truly a great learning experience.
