What I liked most about this camp was the opportunity to push myself into an unfamiliar environment. I got to meet new people who helped me adapt and be unafraid to ask questions. I also enjoyed learning how to work with kids and learning the importance of teamwork and communication with my co-counselors.
What I wish was different
Sometimes it was difficult to communicate with administration and staff when it came to discipline for the campers. It would have been nice if administration had set boundaries for what staff could and could not do.
Advice
I would advise making trips to the store and picking up some fresh fruits and vegetables. The camp offers a staff resting area you can store your food at. Sometimes you get tired of chicken tenders and hot dogs.
