House of Hope

About House of Hope

House of Hope is a transitional housing and life-skills program for single mothers experiencing homelessness and at-risk women aging out of foster care.

House of Hope began in 1995 when a group of church leaders in the community gathered to address homelessness in our community. Today, House of Hope serves 15 single mother families experiencing homelessness and our Pillars program serves 5 at risk young women as they transition into adulthood.

House of Hope's vision is to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty with empowerment, respect, accountability and independence.

House of Hope empowers women to achieve independence and stability. We provide transitional housing, individualized case management, and support services including goal-setting, life-skills education, mentors, job-skills training, family support and wellness.

“Even with all of the COVID-19 regulations, House of Hope was a wonderful place to give back to the community in a safe and fun way! I was able to package goods, learn new skills, and interact with new people. ”
