What I liked

The culture here at IEWC is great. The company really keeps their employees engaged and involved, provides a great at atmosphere to bring in your best self, and of course work hard and play hard too. As a full time college student and working full time in this position, IEWC really respects their interns time and commitment to school so they understand and are flexible if I need some time off for an exam or a project. I can say it's been very beneficial to draws parallels between what I learn in the classroom and how it correlates in the real world in regards to what I do here. It's been a great experience so far.

What I wish was different

Advice

I'd advise anyone looking into IEWC is to be authentic and come in wanting to learn, grow, and contribute to not only the company but to yourself, your knowledge, and your career.

Commercial Excellence

What I liked

The internship program at IEWC is positively empowering. Reflecting on my capstone project, I was able to apply skills I am learning in school while gaining experience in the business world. I was exposed to a lot in the field that I am studying which made the work I was doing very enjoyable. Interns are treated with the same respect as full-time employees and everyone generously offered to help me with anything I needed. The atmosphere at IEWC is always striving for more effective, creative, and honest ways to push the industry.

Advice

From my internship experience, I learned how important it is to be prepared before for having any discussion or meeting. Now, I always look for areas that I can add value and contribute to the conversation.

What I liked

This was a great internship to have! Each intern has an individual project that they work on throughout the summer, which ensures that everyone has a chance to make a meaningful contribution to the company. The project also allows interns to gain experience with project management and the various skills associated with it. In addition to the project, I was exposed to a variety of different marketing tasks, which provided me with a bunch of experience and helped me further solidify what I want to do in the future. All of this in combination with a fun, motivating, and inclusive culture led to an impressive internship experience.

Business Intelligence Intern

What I liked

The work environment is wonderful. I am able to wear jeans to work. Everyone is super friendly and there are a lot of community events (kickball, minute to win it, cook outs, crockpot competition). The work I am doing is beneficial to the company.
