I was able to meet different people from all kinds of backgrounds, and all of them were willing to help me or introduce me to new things. I also got to go out in the field often and observe how my work was impacting the company.
What I wish was different
I wish I had had more electrical knowledge going into the job. It would have been helpful.
Advice
Never be afraid to ask for work. You never know what interesting assignments you might get.
