It was an amazing place to work at. All the employees, and especially my boss, were extremely welcoming. I got to learn real world skills by using exporting databases and I got to meet and sit down with real clients who did business with the incubator. Another huge plus was that I was able to pick my own hours every week so long as they fit the hours I was assigned to work.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to continue working after the internship was over. The only complaint I ever had was having to sit in traffic each way.
Advice
Everyday can be a little different on the job because they work with business incubator companies. Some days I was at my desk the whole time doing market research for a client. Other days, I was on my feet meeting and discussing exporting with multiple companies. Working at the ICNC taught me how to clearly and easily communicate with business professionals, a skill that I could never learn from a textbook.
