I loved the environment of this internship site including its setup, staff, patients and rooms. ICS makes their environment feel comforting in many ways for patients and staff. I was able to meet all of the staff and have genuine conversations with them, some of which I still talk to. I loved the responsibilities that I was given as an intern at ICS and how helpful and supportive each staff member was.
What I wish was different
I wish I had taken more initiation at this internship, if I had I would have had an even better experience.
Advice
Advice for this experience would be to develop good relations with both staff and patients in order to initiate more helpful experiences throughout the job.
