What I liked

It was fun, pretty easy, and nice to meet other students around the same age as me. I don't take classes in person, so it was fun to meet people from my school there. I made a lot of friends and was able to learn a different aspect of the hospitality industry. The work was really fun and awesome. We got to meet students and staff members from a variety of countries.

What I wish was different

I wish that the training materials were a little bit more clear. There were a few times where I was unsure of what I was doing. By the end of the summer, I clearly understood what was expected of me. I think that I would return again next summer if I was granted the opportunity.

Advice

Ask a lot of questions. If something isn't clear, don't hesitate to reach out for clarification. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the experience.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been able to get more done in one day, but that was the nature of the experiment. I wish I didn’t have to commute from an hour away
