I loved the autonomy I had in building systems and creating solutions.
What I wish was different
I wish I had an introduction to the plant. I ended up discovering many things as time went on, but it would have been nice to understand things about our manufacturing process sooner.
Advice
Follow up periodically with your manager so that he/she knows what you've been struggling on and the progress you've made. More often than not, they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
