What I liked

I loved the team atmosphere here at Ipsen. I was immediately welcomed to the team. My team made me feel comfortable and made sure I knew that there is no such thing as a stupid question. This experience helped me gained confidence in myself. I also improve all communication skills. I got over my fear of speaking in front of large groups of people. I am forever thankful for the 3 months I had at Ipsen.

What I wish was different

COVID-19 had a huge impact on my internship. I worked on the computer all day and had many zoom calls. The only downfall was at times I would feel frustrated or trapped because I would be working and looking at a computer all day. However, Ipsen made the best out of the situation and would hold weekly online concerts and we even had a virtual paint night.

Advice

I am an exercise science major and I recently picked up a minor in marketing. I wanted to explore more of the business side of healthcare and I ended up loving it. I decided to take a different route than I was planning on coming into college and that is OK. It is okay to change you mind or explore more options.
