What I liked

From my job this summer, I really enjoyed being immersed in the camp culture with all of the young children. Eating breakfast, playing games, even sleeping in the same bunks as the children created a connection with each kid that was priceless.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more opportunities to voice one's opinions on how something on the camp should be run differently or just small suggestions on how the campers' experience could possibly be elevated.

Advice

I would say be content with hearing "interact with the children more"; even in instances where the kids were entertaining themselves and there was no need for me or my other co-counselors to step in, once a supervisor was walking around and you were not engaging with the kids in some manner, they would and will constantly bring it up.
