I loved being the only intern in my department, but also having other interns in other departments! It was a great way to hear about what they were doing and have people to always eat lunch with and share experiences with. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to help with anything I needed help with.
What I wish was different
Some days I didn't do a whole lot - which can be found with any internship!
Advice
Never be afraid to speak up and ask questions. It may seem scary but you learn SO much more in the long run.
