What I liked

Cannistraro pushed me to work hard and learn as much as I could. I was in the Project Management HVAC group and I went to subcontractor meetings on site, processed submittals, purchase orders and other vital paperwork. It was clear from day one that Cannistraro wanted me to learn and help out and I never felt like "just an intern" I was always a part of the team.

What I wish was different

I loved working from 7am-4pm but the commute from Worcester is tough. Its definitely worthwhile to seek out a sublet closer to Watertown.

Advice

Ask questions and remember the answers. People are happy to help you but you are expected to remember what they've told you. Also, never go to a meeting without a pen and notebook.

There were more visits to the site so we know what we are designing for and have a better scope of the facilities.
