I enjoyed the flexibility of working as well as the attitudes and emotional intelligence/aptitude of the team, and felt I worked well with everyone.
What I wish was different
More clear instructions on project assignments would have been helpful.
Advice
Ask questions and always be active! Be a go-getter and continue to work on the project even if no instructions are provided, initially. Showcase your passion and interest and it will pay forward immensely!

What I liked
I loved having the opportunity to witness the fast-paced workings of a hospital. I was able to form valuable relationships with staff members. I also love the team work that goes on in the hospital. Every one has a specific job to do, but they are all equally important.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have come out of my shell more. I would be in the background working, but not interacting as much as I would have liked to.
Advice
Anyone who would like to volunteer at Jackson, I recommend that you network. Get to know the staff and get them to know you because at the end of the day, they may be writing you a letter of recommendation.
