I enjoyed the money and the friends I made at the shop I worked at.
What I wish was different
I was scheduled every Friday and weekend. I did not have the opportunity to have weekends off to enjoy time with my family and friends as much as I would have liked.
Advice
When you work hard and show your supervisor that you are responsible, they will allow you to take on new jobs and elevate your title.

The people I worked with were nice and really gave me a sense of working together as a team
What I wish was different
Some of the hours were based around labor, so if the labor was high, we'd get released from work early. I wished it had been busier at times to keep me around longer, but I understand more on how the market works now.
Advice
Even if the days are long, it all pays off when you keep a good attitude and smile. People notice that more and appreciate people who take a baseline job like this and make the most about it.

I like how flexible the manager is with scheduling. I also enjoy the working environment. The staff is fun to work with and easy to get along with.

I wish our location was a little more busy. There have been some days where nobody comes in for a solid 2 hours and we have to play the waiting game.
Advice
Delivering is something I'd say to try and experience at least once. It is also a great way to make some extra cash.

Flexible schedule and short hours and a very chill atmosphere. A good summer job for someone who only wants part time. A lot of students work there and tips from delivery’s.
What I wish was different
The management sometimes schedules you at the wrong times. Also no one will take your shift so it is hard sometimes when you want a day off.
Advice
Make friends and enjoy your time while making money. Do not always say you can cover people because they will take advantage of you unless you want to work a lot. Learn the menu and memorize how to make the sandwiches, it is easy once you get the hang of it.
