The culture at Just was incredibly personable and inviting. I learned so much and was able to build meaningful connections in the department I was working in and in many others. I received an excellent blend of mentorship and independence and I was able to work on really challenging and exciting projects. I also really appreciated that my supervisor was open to my input on my start and end dates and the direction of my projects.
What I wish was different
I had so much fun in this role and don't really have any constructive feedback. I personally wish my internship could have been a bit longer but this was unavoidable due to my own personal scheduling conflicts.
Advice
Don't be afraid to get connected with employees while you are interning, even if they don't work in the group you are working with! It was really cool to be able to hear about lots of different ways that people got into their current roles and what their favorite parts of their jobs were. Talking with many people across the company definitely helped me refine my career goals over the course of the summer.
