IT Audit Intern

June - July 2022 • Alexandria, VA

What I liked

Kearney was an amazing company for my first internship. They made me feel welcomed and involved. I gained so much experience with IT Audit and a better understanding of audit work for the federal government.

What I wish was different

I do wish I could have experienced the office in-person more but I understand that COVID prevented that from happening.

Advice

Ask questions. If you don't know how to do something and cannot figure it out, ask for help. Everyone loves when interns ask questions because it means you want to learn and gain more knowledge and that you are taking your task seriously.

Data Analytics Intern

June - July 2022 • Alexandria, VA

What I liked

I got great hands-on experience working for Kearney. All of the work I did had a real impact, which was important to me as an intern. I was also able to work a lot with other interns and senior management which I really enjoyed.

What I wish was different

I really liked when I got to work in the office so I wish I had gone in more instead of working virtually.

Advice

I'd recommend anyone to apply for this internship! It was a great.

Accounting Intern

June - August 2019 • Alexandria, VA

What I liked

I loved the hands-on work I was given. From the first day of working on my engagement, I was given the same work that would have been given to a first year associate. I also liked the continuous learning culture of my team and the friendly people that I met during my internship.
