I loved learning how to work the machines that maintain the chemicals and how to problem solve when there were complications with the pool. I’ve been there for a few years and worked with many younger high school students so I felt I took on a teaching role when a situation came up that they didn’t know how to approach it handle.
What I wish was different
I wish I learned more names of the residents there. I talked to many of them and feel guilty for not growing more personal relationships with a few of them.
Advice
Always stay alert and work hard. Keep a smile on your face because everyone swimming notice when you’re not staying positive.
