“I love the people/work environment—I became very close with all my coworkers very quickly, and not only personally but professionally also. Everyone there is ALWAYS willing to help and answer any questions. I love working with dogs every day and learning new things about them all the time. I decided to be a seasonal employee also!
Side note: a lot of the benefits don’t fall within categories listed here. There are pet discounts (for grooming, at the healthy pets clinic, free doggie daycare/boarding, etc.), as well as a lot of discounts for you, the employee, that I can’t really remember! I know there is free counseling (couple/family), one free adoption a year, I believe paid vacation, and other benefits that didn’t apply to me as a part-time employee such as 401k.
Also, the work was different from the boxes listed. I didn’t have “projects”, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have a workload or wasn’t societally impactful! I could write/talk forever about this job.”
