What I liked
I was the Executive Intern here, one of several available positions, which means I was especially offered a great deal of flexibility and oversight (this applies to the other positions as well!). Interning here - even virtually, due to Covid - is so much more meaningful and hands-on than some internships you might find at a large company, and I had the opportunity to be directly involved in many day-to-day operations - including social media marketing, community outreach, hiring, and working with the other interns. I greatly enjoyed the learning opportunities that having the range of activities brought, although I didn't feel overwhelmed. You will be given many occasions to add your suggestions and contributions, and my fellow interns were all friendly, ambitious, and the environment offered chances to work independently or collaboratively, depending on your style. You will be given opportunities for advancement and to put your personal touch in the projects, including for fundraising activities and on social media, etc.
This internship would be a great experience for students of all majors, but especially in the humanities or business, and definitely if you are looking for direct, hands-on participation and meaning.
