Al aye be prepared because weather is unpredictable! If your position is working outside it is important to be very prepared for anything.

What I liked

The people who work there are very nice and the hours are good. Over the summer, I worked about 5 days a week but it was easy to ask for days off.

What I wish was different

There are busy days and there are slow days. If business gets too slow, Kings Dominion will send the morning shift home early which kind of sucks, but understandable. They need to make more money than they spend. During Haunt, staffing gets tight and can be very stressful.

Advice

Working at Kings Dominion is what you make of it. It can be a temporary job over the summer, or you can stay longer and have a higher chance for promotion (especially if you're over 18). Obviously, there's a large customer service aspect to the job which can be very stressful, but your coworkers are usually very nice.
