I loved working on different projects that allowed me to develop the skills that I have gained in my classes. I got to meet and collaborate with many people from different division and I gained a lot of insight into what KLA is a a company and what technologies they have within the semiconductor manufacturing field. My internship for KLA has prepared me well to transition into a productive member of my team once I graduate.
What I wish was different
I wished that KLA had more on campus events for interns/employees. KLA is currently undergoing a renovation period so many facilities that they had for employees in the Milpitas campus where still under construction during my internship unfortunately. KLA is always growing as a company so this will definitely change for future interns/NCG.
Advice
Go in with an open mind. Having the desire to learn and grow will help in your internship experience as well. Ask a lot of question from your colleague also since they have been with KLA for a long time and can help you navigate to where you want to be career wise.
