Quality Intern

May - August 2022 • Romeo, MI

What I liked

L&L Offers an internship experience that allows you to work both independently and as a group. I was in a unique situation and they were still able to get me into experiences that will benefit me in the long run.

What I wish was different

My Experience at L&L has been nothing short of spectacular. That being said there was some time during my stay when I had a "gap" in my workload and was left with nothing to do. However, it is during these times L&L encourages its interns to get to know the full-time staff.

Advice

Be open to anything - even if it doesn't seem like it will be in your area of expertise odds are L&L will work to accommodate you.

Advanced Product Development Intern

May - August 2019 • Romeo, MI

What I liked

Great place to work, the atmosphere was nice and everyone was eager to help.

What I wish was different

The location was more populated than I would usually want, but after a while I got used to it. Other than that it was an all positive experience.

Advice

An awesome place to work. They expect a lot from you, but anyone there is happy to help you if you are having issues.

Process Engineer

August 2017 • Romeo, MI

What I liked

Smaller Company, Lateral and Vertical interactions day to day. Meaningful projects working in a core group of like-minded fellow process engineers.

What I wish was different

Not much. The company and managers treated interns like another employee and gave them responsibilities as such.

Advice

Make sure your boss knows you are up to any task, no matter how small or big. Anything that you will do will help you learn about a different part of your role, company, or coworkers. Just make sure that you have a mentor or coworkers that you can ask questions and work with to complete the more challenging tasks.
