Langston Construction Company is a great company that employs many personable individuals. This company strives for safety in the construction industry in balance with achieving efficiency and successful customer satisfaction.
I am very thankful for the opportunity that Langston Construction Company to gain experience on multiple construction sites with foreman and superintendents as well as in the office with project managers and assistant project managers. I would undoubtedly define this internship as an enjoyable, beneficial, and knowledgable experience.
What I wish was different
The only aspect of this internship that I wish had been different is that I would have enjoyed more time in the office to shadow project managers to learn and observe their everyday tasks and responsibilities.
However, this was due to my uncertainty about a career path as a superintendent or a project manager.
Advice
For any of the below to be feasible, you must arrive everyday with a growth mindset that drives you to work hard for the benefit of the company, work as a team to safely and efficiently complete projects/tasks, and seek knowledge through personal observation.
