What I wish was different
Pay was VERY low for the area. I took the job for experience but for half of the internship it felt like they didn't know what to do with me, and when they did they asked me to work weekends and stressed me out without giving me room to breathe and "learn" as an intern should. It felt like they did nothing but put me on busywork. Management is not your friend here as well and did not take well to informing them of my stress and monetary issues. I was lectured about not being grateful for the opportunity, essentially, and it put a very sour taste in my mouth.
