With this being my first internship I really liked how much I learned. With Long Agronomics you are thrown into a lot of corn and soybean production fields and see a lot of different issues and scenarios that allow you to see new concepts.
What I wish was different
While it was never hidden from me, the hours really wore me down towards the end of the summer. 70 hours is typically what you'll work in a week throughout the summer.
Advice
If you are looking for an internship that is going to allow you to learn a lot this is a great company to work for. All of the full-time employers are great to work with and are willing to explain new concepts.

What I liked
I enjoyed being able to experience the work a crop consultant does on a day-to-day basis.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have had more background knowledge going into this internship, which would have given me more insight into what we were doing.
Advice
Make sure you are ready to work and learn all day and ask plenty of questions. This is a great experience to learn from and the agronomists know a lot about crop consulting, so take full advantage of this internship.
