This was honestly the best internship experience I have had. I was not treated like an intern, rather was given the responsibilities of a full time employee. I reported directly to our Chief Marketing Officer who was an incredible mentor. She pushed me to learn as much as possible and allowed me to give input. I gained so much knowledge that affirmed and enhanced what i've been learning in my classes at Chapman. I also had the unique experience of living on the East Coast for a summer.

Advice
embrace experiences that make you uncomfortable. I was nervous moving to a new city where I didn't know anyone for three months. However, in the end this experience was not only valuable for my career it was really fun!
