Wish Services Intern

September 2017 - April 2018 • Riverside, CA

What I liked

Since the first day I walked into the front doors of Make-A-Wish the team made me feel like I was part of a giant family. The coworkers I had were what made the experience there so near and dear to my heart.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have worked there longer and it would have been nice to have more outside the work place events with coworkers.

Advice

Come in each day knowing that your work will benefit the life of a child with an critical illness and use that to motivate you to work as efficiently and effectively as possible.

What I liked

I enjoyed the my supervisors took extra care to make sure I was learning. They wanted me to enjoy my internship but wanted it to be valuable as I built my portfolio up.
