The work demonstrated my correct career field. Solidifying my decision.
What I wish was different
There was no community at work. You showed up and did your tasks then left.
Advice
Prepare for your interview by looking over your statistics class notes.

Client Relations Data Specialist
May 2018 • Pittsburgh, PA
What I liked
I had a great team who was willing to spend time to teach me how things work.
My team's director led weekly group lunches with activities, and met with all the department interns once a week to teach us the purpose and work MSA takes part in.
Managers overall were very helpful and clear in their expectations.
What I wish was different
Sometimes the work could be a little slow, a more consistent set of work for interns would be nice.
One day you'd be working on a project and the next day a client request needs to be taken care of. It can be exciting but also difficult to constantly transition between projects.
Advice
Ask questions if you don't know anything, and take initiative in showing what you're capable of doing. Talk to your team during lunch or eat with them whenever possible since you work closely with your team.

Product Marketing Intern
May - August 2017 • Pittsburgh, PA
What I liked
Since I am a Marketing and Information Systems major, this internship was perfect for me since the company was a data company. This really allowed me to get involved with both of my majors at once and see how a company works in those fields.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have gotten the opportunity to work with other student interns within the company on projects.
Advice
Take full advantage of the opportunity that was given to you because this will be the closest thing you will get to a real world experience before you enter the real world.
